Shannon Phillips, Speech Therapy
Mrs.Phillips is a graduate of the Worcester County Public School System and has furthered her education at Towson State University where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in speech-language pathology.  She is certified by ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) and licensed by the State of Maryland Department of Health. Mrs. Phillips currently services children at PES and PHS. She has worked in Worcester County since 1998 and has been at PES since 2004.  She has previously worked in both Somerset and Wicomico Counties. 

Theresa Olenchick, ELL (English Language Learners)
Mrs. Olenchick graduated from Salisbury University in 2007 with a dual degree in early childhood and elementary education. She began teaching at Pocomoke Elementary in 2010, and has taught both kindergarten and grade 1.  She received her master's degree in English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in 2015.

Danielle Pall, Math Coach
As a 20+ year educator, I am thrilled to be working with the Pocomoke Elementary School family.  I started my experience in Howard County, MD.  While in the county I achieved my two Master's Degrees (Special Education and Curriculum and Instruction).  After ten years, I moved to the Eastern Shore where I spent one year in Wicomico County and finally landed in Worcester County where I have been for the last 10 years .  Pocomoke Middle and Snow Hill Middle are the two schools where I spent my tenure until coming to Pocomoke, ES.  My last scholar was obtaining my Administration Certification from Salisbury University.  I enjoy spending time with my dog, Snickers, crafting, reading, shopping and going home to PA to be with my family.

Jill Dillon, School Psychologist
Ms. Dillon has been working as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist since 2008. She serves Pocomoke Elementary School, Pocomoke Middle School, Pocomoke High School, Snow Hill High School, as well as the Alternative Program at the Board of Education. She has an avid interest in the education, as well as the social and emotional development of all  our children. Being both a parent and employee in the school system gives her the extra motivation to see that our children in this community are getting what they need to become successful adults.  She believes in and praises our Blue Ribbon status and is honored to be a part of this team. Without our amazing staff, we would not be where we are today!

Michelle Dougherty, Occupational Therapist

Michelle Dougherty has her master’s degree in occupational therapy from The University of Sydney in Australia (2012) and an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in rehabilitation services from East Carolina University (2008). Michelle worked in elementary schools in Costa Rica, San Diego and St. Thomas Virgin Islands before moving to Berlin and joining Worcester County Public schools as an Occupational Therapist. She is licensed with the state of Maryland and certified by NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy).   She currently services children at Buckingham Elementary, Pocomoke Elementary, Middle and High.

Natasha Johnson, Instructional Technology Coach
Hello! My name is Natasha Johnson and I am currently the Instructional Technology Coach at Pocomoke Elementary School.  I have been working here for three years now and I really enjoy it!   I have over sixteen years of experience working in the field of early childhood education.  I received my Bachelors degree in Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and I received my Masters in Education at Post University. 

Tajah Roberts, Judy Center Home Educator
Tajah Roberts is a native of Worcester County. Ms. Roberts has a heart for Special Education and began her run in the SPED field in 2016. Mrs. Roberts helps to shape the minds of early learners in the Frog Street Home Education Program. She enjoys teaching new skills promoting school readiness.

Jahniqua Johnson, Judy Center Family Service Coordinator
Jahniqua Johnson is a native of Worcester County, Maryland.  Ms. Johnson has an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Wor-Wic Community College.  Ms. Johnson has over ten years of experience in Early Childhood education.  She has been with the Worcester County Judy Center for 8 years, with four of those years as a home educator and the remaining four as the Family Service Coordinator.  Ms. Johnson enjoys advocating for families and connecting them with resources to support their overall health and wellbeing.
